Duration: 2 days (Full-Time) and 1 day assessment
Provide Guard and Patrol Services (PGPS) Guard and Patrol This unit covers essential security skills and knowledge that is required of a security officer. It includes the requisite skills to be deployed as security officer to perform static guard duty, handle telephone calls and lost and found properties, patrol premises, make reports and hand over duties.
Duration: 2 days (Full-Time) and 1 day assessment
Handle Security Incidents and Services (HSIS) Incidence response HSIS covers the skills and knowledge required to handle security incidents and services. It includes the requisite skills required to contain incidents of damage to facilities and equipment, handle incidents related to fire, crime, medical and first-aid, bomb or improvised explosive device (IED) threats, search, apprehend and arrest suspect and give evidence in court.
Duration: 3 days (Full-Time) and 1 day assessment
Threat Observation (Recognise Terrorist Threats), Threat Observation (Recognise Terrorist Threats) aims to equip adult learners with the knowledge and abilities to perform security duties in relation to terrorist threats and scenarios.
